Tanner Bennett pride themselves on the services they provide to the housing associations and prime contractors delivering much needed improvements to the “Social Housing” stock of homes in the South West, South East (including London) and the Midlands which we have delivered over the last 12 years.

The contracts and management of these projects are not for the faint hearted because of their scale and complexity particularly in the metropolitan cities. Our own developed database systems are designed around getting the exact requirements from customer’s contracts and their specifications and get us quickly into managing the supply chain and scheduling the delivery teams.

With our dedicated project managers and their professional electrical teams we have an ingrained philosophy of “customer satisfaction” and being on time and on budget. 
New additions to these contracts such as ventilation and photovoltaic systems is an opportunity for all. The contract scale and complexity is increasing; they are setup as unique projects in the trade with our customers.

In essence, the social housing contracts are exactly what the customer wants – some from a start point of carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and/or moving into remedial works to bring the failed tested properties up to meet the latest legal requirements – to being fixed works in kitchens and/or bathrooms and/or full rewiring of the entire property.

Tanner Bennett have also taken the big step of investing in South Wales for housing associations projects using the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) to define the improvements these homes need. Tanner Bennett have done these works over the last 7 years with contracts now being renewed which credits the fact the service has been delivered effectively and well.
